Choose only the Lord as your source

Stand firm in believing that only the Lord is the source of true power.

1 Kings 18:21 – And Elijah came to all the people, and said, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people answered him not a word.

2 Kings 17:41 – So these nations feared the Lord, yet served their carved images; also their children and their children’s children have continued doing as their fathers did, even to this day.

Zephaniah 1:5 – Those who worship the host of heaven on the housetops; Those who worship and swear oaths by the Lord,
But who also swear by Milcom;

Exodus 20:2-3 – I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me.

Acts 8:9-13;18-22 – The Sorcerer’s profession of Faith.

2 Kings 1:1-4 – God Judges Ahaziah

Deuteronomy 18:9-12 – “When you come into the land which the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord, and because of these abominations the Lord your God drives them out from before you.”
